Garment Quality Control and Factory Inspection in India

Most garment quality problems start well before final inspection: in fabric, in the first cut or in an unapproved process change. Our garment quality control in India runs from factory audit to loading.

You get photo reports with clear pass, fail or hold decisions, so you can decide before the balance payment.

Inspection stages for garment orders

01

Factory audit

Capacity, machinery, in-house and subcontracted processes, quality systems and available social and chemical audits.

02

Fabric and trims

Fabric inspection for defects, shade bands and shrinkage, and trim checks against approved samples.

03

Pre-production meeting

Sealed sample, measurement chart, construction and packing standards confirmed with the factory.

04

In-line inspection

Early checks on the first cut and sewing output, so defects are fixed before bulk is finished.

05

Final AQL inspection

Random sampling at the agreed AQL level for workmanship, measurements, colour, labels and packing.

06

Loading check

Carton count, marks and container condition at loading.

Lab testing and compliance

Inspection is visual and dimensional. Chemical, colour-fastness, shrinkage and flammability tests are done by accredited labs. We arrange tests when your market or customer requires them, and we never claim compliance without a test report.

Reports you receive

Each inspection report lists the AQL level, sample size, defects found by category, measurement results and photos. Failed or held lots are reworked and re-inspected before shipment.

Garment sourcing by destination market

Duty, labelling and compliance differ by market. Our country guides list the main rules with official sources.

Garment buyer questions

Which AQL level is used for garments?

Many apparel buyers use AQL 2.5 for major defects and 4.0 for minor defects, with zero tolerance for critical defects. We use your standard if you have one.

Can you inspect a factory I already use?

Yes. We inspect orders from any factory you choose, including existing suppliers.

Do you do social compliance audits?

We check factory conditions and review existing third-party audit reports. Formal social audits are done by accredited auditing firms, and we can coordinate them.
