Wooden & Natural · Woven natural fibre products
Assam and the other northeastern states have deep traditions in bamboo and cane, and craft clusters across India weave water hyacinth, kauna grass, sabai grass, palm leaf and seagrass.
We help homeware brands and retailers source woven natural products made largely by hand, and plan for the realities of craft supply: seasonal materials, artisan capacity and mould prevention.

Most woven natural products are made by artisans working at home or in small centres, coordinated by producer groups or exporters. Bamboo and cane are split, treated and woven; grasses and water hyacinth are dried and woven or coiled over frames. This gives character and sustainability appeal, but capacity is spread across many hands.
Sizes, weaves, colours, handles and liners can be adapted. Natural colour varies by harvest, so we approve colour ranges. Branding is usually on tags or packaging rather than the product.

Samples from the producer group, adjusted for strength and finish.
Quantities split across artisan groups with a coordinated timeline.
Anti-fungal treatment and drying to a safe moisture level.
Weave, shape, size, moisture and mould checks before packing.
Craft production scales by adding artisans, so large orders need longer lead times rather than higher minimums. Harvest seasons and monsoon humidity affect material supply and drying.
Products are nested where possible to save container space, and packed with breathable wrapping and desiccants. Moisture checks before packing are the main defence against mould on long sea voyages.
We are a buyer-side sourcing company. We find and verify independent Indian manufacturers, manage development and production, and inspect goods before shipment. The factory is your supplier of record; we do not own factories or sell from stock.
Mainly in Assam and the other northeastern states, with grass and leaf weaving in clusters across eastern and southern India.
Treatment, drying to a safe moisture level, moisture checks before packing, and breathable packaging with desiccants.
Mostly yes, by artisans in producer groups. This affects capacity planning and variation.
Often, depending on destination. We arrange treatment certificates when required.
