Textiles & Apparel · Hand block printing
Hand block printing is one of India's signature crafts. Sanganer and Bagru near Jaipur, Ajrakh printers in Kutch and Barmer, and Kalamkari printers in Andhra Pradesh each have distinct techniques and looks.
We help brands source hand block printed fabrics and finished products, manage colour and repeat consistency, and keep the hand-made character buyers want.

Printers carve designs into wooden blocks, one block per colour, and stamp them by hand along tables of fabric. Workshops range from family units to larger printers with in-house washing, dyeing and stitching. Screen printing and digital printing are often available alongside, for designs that do not need hand printing.
New blocks are carved from your artwork, and colours are matched by trials. Your designs and blocks can be reserved for your brand. Finished products can carry your labels and packaging.

Minimums per design and colourway are usually lower than for rotary printing, but block carving adds time for new designs. Natural dyes and monsoon conditions affect drying and colour, so plans include buffer time.
Fabrics ship rolled or folded; finished products are pressed, folded and polybagged. Natural-dye textiles are packed dry to avoid colour transfer in humid transit.
We are a buyer-side sourcing company. We find and verify independent Indian manufacturers, manage development and production, and inspect goods before shipment. The factory is your supplier of record; we do not own factories or sell from stock.
