Imitation and Fashion Jewellery Manufacturers in India

India makes imitation and fashion jewellery in centres such as Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Mumbai and Rajkot, from traditional kundan-style and oxidised pieces to minimalist gold-plated designs.

We help fashion retailers, e-commerce brands and private-label collections source jewellery with consistent plating and test reports that meet nickel, lead and cadmium limits.

Jewellery manufacturing capabilities

Units cast, stamp or hand-form base metals, set stones, add enamel and plate finished pieces. Brass is a common base for better-quality pieces, with zinc alloys for lower prices. Many products combine machine casting with hand setting and finishing.

Materials and finishes

Base metals

Brass, copper and alloy bases; nickel-free options where required.

Plating

Gold, rose gold, silver and rhodium plating, with optional anti-tarnish coating.

Stones and enamel

Glass stones, cubic zirconia, kundan-style settings, beads and enamel colours.

Design and private label

We develop collections from your designs or the manufacturer's range, and add your branding on cards, tags, pouches and boxes. Plating thickness and colour are agreed and checked against reference samples.

Bulk production

Casting, setting, plating and finishing with in-line checks.

05

Inspection

Plating, stones, clasps, sharp edges, carding and packing.

MOQ and lead-time considerations

Minimums are often modest per design, but plating runs and packaging favour grouping designs into collections. Trend collections need fast sampling, so we keep approvals tight.

Compliance

EU and UK REACH

Limits apply to nickel release (entry 27), lead (entry 63) and cadmium (entry 23) in jewellery.

US rules

Children's jewellery falls under CPSIA lead limits and testing; several states, including California, set limits on lead in jewellery.

EU / UK general product safety

Consumer products need a responsible economic operator in the EU (GPSR) and traceability details on product or packaging; Great Britain applies its own product safety rules.

Packaging and export logistics

Pieces are carded or bagged individually with anti-tarnish paper where needed, and packed in small cartons. Jewellery is light, so air freight is common for fast-fashion programmes.

International buyer questions

Is Indian imitation jewellery nickel-free?

It can be. Specify nickel-free materials and plating, and test for nickel release before shipment.

Which base metal should I choose?

Brass gives better quality and plating durability; alloys are cheaper but less durable.

How long does plating last?

It depends on thickness and coating. We agree plating specifications and test adhesion and tarnish resistance.

Can you make jewellery for children?

Yes, but children's jewellery has stricter lead and safety rules, so testing is essential.
