Premium flatware · Cutlery sourcing in India
Premium flatware is defined by weight, balance, edge finishing and polish, not by the grade stamp alone. Buyers in this segment check every piece in the hand.
We source 18/10 flatware with specified weight and balance, forged or two-piece knives and hand-finished polishing, and inspect it piece by piece against the golden sample.
Full place settings in heavier gauges.
Forged or two-piece knives with hardened blades.
Mirror, satin and hand-brushed.
Matching serving pieces.
Premium boxes and inserts.
Inspection follows our five checkpoints — factory audit, pre-production, during production, pre-shipment and loading — against the sealed golden sample. See quality control in India.
Premium patterns often need custom dies and hand finishing, so minimums are set per pattern.
Every programme can be produced under your own brand, with your labels and packaging. Read about private label manufacturing in India.
Market-specific sizing, labelling and testing notes for this category are covered in the cutlery & flatware buyer guide.
18/0 is magnetic and 18/10 is not, which is a quick first check. We confirm the grade with mill certificates and an analyser or lab report.
The difference in nickel content is small. Weight, finish and edges usually matter more to the user than 18/10 versus 18/8.
