Curtain Manufacturers in India

India supplies ready-made curtains, sheers and blackout panels to retailers and online sellers worldwide, using cotton, linen-look, velvet and polyester fabrics. Karur and Panipat are important curtain-producing centres.

Curtains are measured in drops and widths that differ by market, and they hang badly if the fabric shrinks or the heading is inconsistent. We specify each detail before sampling and check hang and measurements in inspection.

Curtain specification essentials

Width & drop
UK curtains are often sold in inches (for example 66×72 or 90×90); US panels come in 63, 84, 95 and 108 in lengths; EU in centimetres.
Heading
Eyelet size and finish, pleat tape type or tab spacing.
Lining
Unlined, lined, interlined or blackout lining; lining must match the face fabric's shrinkage.
Blackout method
Coated back, triple-weave or separate lining — they differ in light blocking, drape and washability.
Shrinkage
Pre-shrunk fabric and shrinkage limits keep drops accurate after washing.
Contract flame retardancy
Hospitality and public spaces often require flame-retardant fabrics to standards such as BS 5867, NFPA 701 or EN 13773. We confirm the standard per project.

Inspection follows our five checkpoints — factory audit, pre-production, during production, pre-shipment and loading — against the sealed golden sample. See quality control in India.

Minimums, sampling & private label

Ready-made curtains on existing fabrics allow moderate minimums; custom fabrics, prints and blackout constructions carry higher setup minimums.

Every programme can be produced under your own brand, with your labels and packaging. Read about private label manufacturing in India.

Buyer questions

Can you source blackout curtains from India?

Yes. We source coated, triple-weave and lined blackout curtains and verify light blocking, drape and washability on samples.

Do you supply curtains in UK and US sizes?

Yes. UK curtains are typically sold by width and drop in inches, US panels by length, and EU curtains in centimetres. We build size specs per market.

Can you source flame-retardant curtains for hotels?

Yes, where the project requires it. We confirm the applicable standard — for example BS 5867, NFPA 701 or EN 13773 — and arrange testing on the chosen fabric.

How do you make sure curtains hang correctly?

We specify fabric weight, shrinkage, heading and hem details, then check measurements and hang during inspection.
